A Simple Call to Action: Achievement Reform

No, you are asking them to create challenges specifically to entertain you.

There must be thousands of people that haven`t yet beat the game, and find the new challenges very entertaining as they are playing the main game through.

Please highlight the part that i am incapable of reading, i don`t think i missed anything.

I think its much more likely that you are not getting the answers you want, basically because your problem doesn`t exist.

Again seriously, find another game to play, there are thousands out there waiting to be "beat".

 

It exists, you just keep saying it doesn't because apparently if it did (and it does) it wouldn't be (and isn't) a good thing for you, who cannot solve it.

 

And how many people want basic achievements? Hannah montana? Terminator? Seriously, If you like the game it shouldn't matter, It doesn't matter. Really arguing about nothing here and Owen is just helping.

I don't generally pay attention to acheivments they just pop up I cant say ive ever gone out of my way to get ever achievement in a game maybe im lazy

 

I love achievements, and will go out of my way to get one, i got two 100% completions last week.

However the "problem" in this thread goes beyond the norm.

 

^^ Yea. I also should point out that (I would assume) developers don't know what challenges they are going to implement months after a game has been released, so there would be no way to know what things to track like the OP is asking for.

Again, this is totally a non-issue anyways.

 

Exactly how "challenging" should you make the challenges? Unlike achievements, where if you're having trouble getting it, you can go back and try again at a later time, challenges allocate a finite amount of time to do it.
I look at challenges as something to do while you're playing the rest of the game. Not something to go back to do.

 

@Eggnogga actually if you look at the challenges for games some are planned months in advanced. Looking at my Shadow of Mordor challenges the last one starts in 41 days.

 

I just skip the achievements that would take me ages to deal with. Mainly stuff like finding hidden items when there's a ton to find. Was never my sort of thing. Stuff like killing certain enemies also feels like a waste of time, but like someone said,
don't bother with getting said achievement and just move on.
