A setting keeps reverting to block instead of allow

the issue still persists, I would try resetting to factory settings but select "keep games & apps"

My problem isn’t being able to play on the xbox one console. I can change the privacy settings on the console easily. But for some reason when I go to the Xbox website and go to my privacy settings it says thay my allow online multiplayer is set to block
while on console is set to allow and I can change it on console but not the website.

You may also want to try on a different device before going to the console if you do not want to download your profile to the Xbox at this time. Please let us know how it goes.

Unfortunately the best way to have reverted would have been to turn off auto-renewal and wait for the subscription to end instead of just cancelling. That would have allowed you to keep the remainder of your gold even if you didn't use the game pass parts
of the subscription.
