A Question...

So maybe sometime this question has actually been answered in the forums already but... if you have more than one Xbox One, can you set them both as your "home" console? ...if that makes sense... basically, could I have
my gamertag on both and use my downloaded games, ect... on both consoles? Thanks for any info... Tomorrow I shall have another One and I was just curious before I set it up...

So the last madden game I bought was 09

I played the 12 demo, and was really surprised in the the changes that have been made, that is to say, it makes my version seem pretty outdated. So although I often hear that madden games don't change very much each year, in 3 apparently they do.

Problem is, I don't really want to shell out 60 dollars for the game. I can get Madden 11 on amazon used for around 10 dollars. However I've heard that buying it used cuts you off from roster updates and online play. I'm good missing the online play, im
on silver now and have roomates to play with...however, if I buy 11 used will I be stuck with the old rosters from the beginning of last season (will vick be rated like 73, my steelers be less impressive etc)?

Because if I'm going to get a new madden game, I want one that at least reflects some of the bigger recent changes (vick becoming an elite qb...again. Is one of them)

Gameplay-wise, does 11 feel alot like 12? I loved the new feeling to rushing plays and the new tackling physics that were in the 12 demo, are these big new fluid gameplay changes also in 11 (as many reviews have said the 11-12 changes aren't really related
to gameplay)

Wait for Ultimate. There has been no announcements about a dlc version so its safe to assume there won't be one.

 

No. Only one console can be set as your home console. You can use your GT on multiple console and access your downloaded games on both.

 

I think you can set one console as your home. If it is gold everyone gets the benifits of gold. Then you can log into another console and play anything that is attached to your profile.

 

If you make the console you play on most regularly the "non-home" console and the other one upstairs the "home console" , you can log into non-home and download a digital copy of a game , then when you log out and go upstairs , log into home and it will
auto download the same game on that one too . Then when you log in on non-home , someone upstairs can log in and you can both play the same game at the same time all for the price of one game .

 

You have access to your digital content on any console regardless of which is set to your home, thats the point of digital content, all you have to do is downloaded it.

The way I understand it is:

(Assuming that your gamertag will be purchasing the majority of content)

-One console can be the "Home" console

-The other console can also be used to download your content but only works when your gamertag is signed on

-You should set your home console to the one that the other people use the most so that they can access all your games.

-Use the non-home console as your own primary console as you can access all your content no matter what xbox you're signed on to.



To understand why it works this way, when you purchase content, you get 2 "licenses" for it. You need one of these licenses in order to access the content. One license is assigned to the gamertag that purchased it. So that gamertag will always have access
to the content, no matter where they are signed on. The other license gets assigned to your "Home" console. This means anyone signed on to that console has a valid license, and as such, can access the content while signed on to that specific console.

 

And lets not forget multiple unlimited users can set the same console as their gold. Not sure why this is needed.. might be left over from the family share program... but I can see it helping out huge families... with multiple consoles ... all make the
one in the living room their HOME... entire family gets all the games.. (On that single console)
