A Question/Request about cloud saves

Recently ive been playing alot of the yakuza games after i had played yakuza 0 and i was thrilled to know that they would come out on game pass but i had started yakuza 4 at my dads house and have been wanting to play it at home on my pc without having to move my xbox from house to house and was wondering if there is a way to transfer save files so i can continue my playthrough here and if there isnt if there is any consideration to add such a thing.

Hey there!

Unfortunately, Yakuza 4 is not a part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program. So the game save you have on your Xbox would be a separate save instance from the PC version of the game. In a sense, they'll be treated like two separate games, so you'd need a new save file if you were hoping to play on two different devices (console vs. PC)

There is no way to disable the automatic syncing with the cloud. Also there is no way to have it synced manually.

Afaik savegames are uploaded to the cloud in the background when you reach a control point in your game or better said, when the savegame is saved by the game.

The resyncing is done everytime you start a game. The one then checks if the savegame in the cloud is newer than the local stored one. If so, it will be downloaded automatically. If the local stored one is newer you will be prompted.

If you have a local save that is corrupted, you can recover the cloud save. To do this go to your game tile, press menu, then manage game, then Saved data. Press A, and select "Delete From Console". Make sure you do not delete from everywhere or you'll
purge your saved game. After that your game will re-sync the last good saved data from the cloud.
