    A question for gamer parents.

Hello all. I posted this in the gamer parents forum but sadly I fear not many people are aware that there is a gamer parents forum as it doesn't receive much traffic. Any way I thought I'd post here. I'm a father of a two year old girl. My question is
aimed at parent gamers who have older children( in the double digits) but anyone can respond.how has having children changed the type of game you play, when you play, and who you play with? Also how and at what age did you choose to introduce your child to
video games? I'm just looking for a little insight as to what I can expect to get out of my hobby for the next 10 years or so. Right now I'm s stay at home dad but will be reentering the work force soon. The only time I get to really play anything is naps
and bedtime and I'm sure it'll be even less once I go back to work. Thoughts, advice, suggestions?

    :)

Can Your parents remember??? They would have to promote the account with a few simple security questions answed after calling Phone support. May I ask Why you would set up parent control for yourself??? I see a few M rated games on this account...

    A question for gamer parents.

I guess I will give this a go. I am 29, I have a 7 year old daughter named Brooke; I also have a brother that is 8 and one that is 14 but I will get to that later. I was into games like Call of Duty World at War and Guitar hero when my daughter was a newborn.
She has watched me play since then. Only recently has she asked to play games with me...games like Minecraft and Rayman.

She knows whats right and whats wrong as well as the fact that guns are made to kill people and animals. Just like most of us adults, we know that the zombies and monsters in games are not real yet they can make us jump at the sight of them. Brooke is well
aware that these monsters are make believe and she could even tell you how the movies and TV shows like the Walking Dead make actors look like monsters.

Just like "grown-ups", my daughter has a preference to the movies and games she likes to play and watch. Just because she watches me play Dead Space or Far Cry, it doesn't mean she wants to play them either. My 8 year old brother Connor on the other hand
LOVES to play Call of Duty. In fact he started playing Black Ops when he was 5 years old. I know a lot of people think this would be bad parenting but I think this has made my brother a much more mature kid. Our Dad has been in the military for 27 years now
so Connor knows that the military games like Call of Duty simulate what goes on in real life (to a point). He does well in school also, In 2nd grade he was even referred to move a grade higher because he is a pretty sharp kid. He even told me that Aliens are
probably real. That there are so many planets in the Universe that there HAS to be some sort of aliens somewhere. I mean come on! How smart is that?!

I've been rambling on now but I think my point is being made. There are evil things everywhere you look. From Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd using guns in cartoons, to the evil Disney monsters Ursula from The Little Mermaid and Chernabog from Fantasia. As long
as your little one knows the difference between what is right and what is wrong, you should be able to enjoy the games you like as well has have fun with your kid.

^^ Speaks truthfully. 90% of people who threaten to hack have no abillty to do so, and just use it as a scare tactic.

Bearing that in mind, some are capble of hacking, and all should just be blocked, reported, and move on.

    Just my opinion.

Here is a link you might want to read. Its good info on parent gaming ( you may have already).

I would file a complaint via 360. I block communcations with the person and move on. Your son will not get banned if he has done nothing wrong. Sorry you had to go through this.

Hope this helped and happy gaming.
