A question about the wireless adapter.

Yes, it does heat even if not being used, as long as it is plugged, it will heat. Not much of a problem, but I usually take it off when I am not going to use it.

As for the size of it, there is not much information regarding this topic available. It can be from a design choice kind of view ( which I like ) or it is just how it needed to be when it was designed. The technicalities of its size information are not available for use here in the community, okay? I hope you understand.

Anything that has electricity running through it will heat up. Since you mention size, my guess is you have the original HK9-00001 (chunky black one that came in a green box reminiscent of the xb1 controller box). They just started out being fat for some reason. Later revisions slimmed down. If I were you, I would try to register the adapter on your devices/warrant checker. There is a very real possibility the one you have is counterfeit. A lot of them are. Even most of the ones being sold on Amazon are fake. They will still work as it's just a Bluetooth adapter, but it won't be perfect. If the device/warranty page doesn't let you register it, it's a bootleg.

You could go buy one and try it.And if it still doesnt work take it back for a refund same day you bought it and say it didnt work.Best place to return items with no problems is WalMart.I bought a AfterGlow controller for my 360 and it was just a crappy
controller that i paid 30-40 bucks for.So i just returned it,and they gave me no fuss at all.Good luck......

My concern and question is about the Bluetooth connectivity, can you share the Bluetooth adapters that worked? What about buying the Xbox wireless adapter or a standard one is fine?
