    If I join the Xbox preview program, will I still be able to talk with other people in party chat who aren't in the program? I just want to know before I make that leap.

    Cross Platform Communications.

    Hello. My name is Edgar, and I have a Question about the Communication System on the Xbox One. I notice that we are able to Receive and Reply to Msgs from both Xbox One to Xbox 360, & Xbox 360 to Xbox One. But my Question is, How come Cross Platform Party
    Chat wasn't Implemented to Xbox One? It would be great if i was able to invite my friends to a Party Chat while on my Xbox One. Reason Being, I would be able to play my games on the Xbox One while Chatting with my Friends who are using the 360 without Me having
    to turn on my Own 360 and starting a Party Chat with them that way. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Thanks.

    There is a possibility that you won't be able to. If Microsoft change the audio codec for chat then you'd be blocked from talking to anyone except those in the preview.

    If there is anything you value about the One at the moment then don't join the preview, as there is a chance that it could break.
