A Question About Minecraft Vanilla Cape

According to the support page of Minecraft, if you bought both Java and Bedrock Edition on the same Microsoft account on PC before June 6, 2022, or otherwise owned both games on a single Microsoft account on PC (whether owned by purchase or by code redemption), you will be receiving this special cape shortly.  This offer is PC only. Hey Vic, thanks for reaching out for help on the forums. I'm sorry you're dealing with this confusion about the Minecraft Vanilla cape.

From what I gathered, to be eligible for the Vanilla cape, you needed to own both Java and Bedrock on the same Microsoft account before June 6, 2022. Since you bought them on different accounts, unfortunately, you wouldn’t qualify. The cape can’t be transferred between accounts either.

You will need to contact Minecraft Support here for additional assistance with your issue: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001225811 They will be able to look into your account further to determine your eligibility to receive the cape and if so manually add the cape for you.

Based from the Minecraft FAQ, "If you did not purchase both versions of Minecraft on the same Microsoft account for PC before June 6, 2022, it is not possible to become eligible for the Vanilla cape. "

Did you just recently purchase the two Minecraft Editions?
