A promo for xbox one day one edition owners

With the xbox one day one edition back in 2013, costing the same price as the new xbox one x, i believe that owners of the xbox one day one edition should get a promo, especially since we bought this console for $500, and the new one costs the same and is
a thousand times better

Minecraft Xbox One Edition - price for Xbox 360 Edition owners

Hi all,

I'd like to buy Minecraft Xbox One Edition, however I don not wish to pay the full price again, since I already own the Xbox 360 Edition and I found out that there was some promo for previous Edition owners. The info is old, however there is no info on any
deadline for that "deal". I tried to use it, but I still get standard price for Xbox One Edition.

Can anyone help me with that?

I 100% agree, those of us who still supported the Xbox One (and Microsoft) after their horrible PR stunt should be getting at least a better trade in value than those who 1)waited for a price decrease on the xbox one, and 2) waited for a price decrease on
the xbox one s (which has a better trade in value than the original). And yes I do understand why the "S" would garner a higher trade in value, but a little loyalty would go a long way. I'm sure that I wasn't the only one to skip the "S" and wait for the "X".

Microsoft doesn't care. They screwed over day one XBox One owners when they did pack ins, and price cuts back in 2013/early 14 and their doing it again with the X. I got burnt both times. The next time I'm holding out until they offer a promo. Day One loyalty
means nothing to Microsoft.

I did have an Xbox One pre ordered with Zavvi (from back in May) which was ordered using a promo code they sent me in May. I had previously received the email stating I would be getting a Day One edition of the console.

Today to my surprise I received an email from Zavvi saying they were cancelling my order due to it having a promo code assigned to the order. Despite asking them to just remove the promo code they have totally cancelled my order and the most helpful they
could be was to tell me to place a new order (and by doing so miss out on a Day One edition and receiving it on launch day).

Luckily I have managed to get a Day One edition bundle from Simply Games which will arrive on launch day. Needless to say I will never be using (or recommending) Zavvi again!

The main issue is many Day One Edition owners like myself, will be reluctant to purchase a future Xbox on day one. Microsoft need to reassure their customers (U.K) that they appreciate their early adoption with a little incentive or thank you.
