A Problem with my online status!

Hello, I hope somebody can help me because I got a Problem with my online status.
I am coming normaly online like every day but my profile is shown up offline for me and my friends. I can still play online and talk to my friends but they never know that I am online. I also haven't activated the "offline show" that means I
should be shown online but I don't.... I hope someone can help me and I would be very happy. Sorry for that bad English

Xbox One Friends Online Notifications

I think I know what the problem is with the lack of friend notifications.

I noticed that when I first visited my profile on the X1 my status was set to offline without me having set it to this myself, so assuming this is set by default for everybody, no one will get notifications unless you change your status to online.

Online status is not a persistent setting on the 360 and you have to set it first before you sign in to your Gamertag to get the desired behaviour.

friends can see me online

im having a problem with my account my friends cant see me online but when i go to settings preferences then online status it says im online but they cant see that please help thank you

Is this still a problem for you? I have the exact same issue. I've tried my changing my online status on multiple consoles but it keeps saying 'Status Unknown' and remains in Offline mode.

How long has this been going on for?

It has happened to me a couple of times, but normally when live was being worked upon, or there was a known error on the system. Cleared up the following day.

That's correct, as long as the website shows the setting as "Blocked" then regardless of what you set it to on the console (XBOX 360 Controller's guide button > Settings > Online Status).
