    A problem with age settings.


    Hello, I am being restricted from certain options on the Xbox because it tells me I'm not old enough. The issue is, I am well over the age of eighteen and it still says I'm not old enough. I checked my Microsoft account settings and the age was correct.
    Is there any way to resolve this issue?

    Im confused how to change my age on Xbox when I try to change my gamepic to q custom image it says I'm not old enough but I am my account is

    I think Microsoft should at least make this something the parent can give permission to do! It's stupid to limit it only to adults but not to let the adult allow their child to change the image?? DUMB!!!

    it would be best to create a new child account for your son then change the date of birth for the account in your name.

    you may need to create a new adult account for yourself to change the date of birth on the account in your name.

    you would need to add this account to your family group to make the changes on your account then use either of those to set permissions on your son's account

    the reason I say that you should create a new account for your son is that in a few short years he will want to transfer his Xbox profile to his own email and if you use Microsoft email accounts it is impossible to transfer an Xbox profile from one email
    account to another.
