    A problem occurred while signing onto Xbox Live


    For some reason which I can't place I cannot connect to Xbox Live. I've had multiple trial and error experiments and none of them seem to work, an when on the off chance that I do get a connection to Xbox Live, I get disconnected before I get to do anything
    online. Every time I try to connect, it's a different or the same problem.

    >Unplug the router or modem (Done this multiple times with no success)

    >Your NAT is moderate (?)

    >Deleted and re-downloaded account (Nothing)

    >Reset network settings to factory default (Nothing)

    And if it helps, the type of modem I'm using is from Comcast. Xfinity Technicolor?

    This issue has been going on for too long without an end in sight. Is there anything that I haven't tried that will work?

    I was connecting to xbox live just fine until i was suddenly kicked from my party and disconnected from live. Now every time I try to log on I receive the disgusting message shown in the title. Nothing has changed since I was online, so why can i no longer
    connect? If this problem continues, I will no longer pay for live services, when i cant even use them.

    Hi MeinSquare,

    Sorry to here that your having problems managing to stay connected and the countless attempts to get back online, Sometimes clearing System Cache helps resolve problems.

    To clear the system cache.

    1. Press the Guide Button on your controller, go to Settings, and select
    System Settings.

    2. Select Storage or Memory.

    3. Highlight any storage device, and press Y on your controller. (Its doesn't matter which storage

    device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

    4. Select Clear System Cache.

    5. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

    These details can be found at
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache


    After you have cleared your system cache restart you console.

    I hope this answer helps you get back online.

    is no permanent fix at this time.

    To get yourself back up and running under normal conditions, my recommendation is that you reach out your ISP and have them know about your situation. Ask them to configure your TC8305C in bridge mode. Bridge mode will have your gateway act as a normal modem,
    without NAT, DHCP, or wireless capabilites. You will then, of course, need a new wireless router, and which works seamlessly with connectivity to Xbox Live.
