    Is it that the majority of you guys can sign in now and they've just started slacking, because i've been down for like 3+ hours. Checking online for updates still the same crap. You guys said 1-2 hours, its waaay past that.

    Hey EskimoKitt3n!

    Unfortunately unless Xbox Staff say otherwise, there's no official "ETA" on when everything should be back to normal, only typical repair times.

    The best (and official) way to stay updated is to keep checking the
    "Xbox Live Status" page     for any updates on the issue. That will be the quickest way to find out any new information as it becomes available.

    Sorry for the inconvenience! Here's hoping we'll be back to playing soon!

    Xbox Live is currently under a DDoS attack. They're doing everything they can to figure out where it's coming from, and how to stop it. Unfortunately, until then, there's nothing anyone can do but sit tight and wait. There's no ETA, because these types of
    attacks are very sophisticated, and from the sounds of it, the group behind the attack clearly has had experience hitting other online services.

    Just keep checking the Xbox Live Status page for updates, that's all you can really do. If you can sign in you're a lucky one, and even after that the service you get will be a snail's pace at best.
