Discus and support A Plea in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So, I just got a 1080p 280hz HDR monitor thinking I'm moving up in the world. only to find that my Xbox Series S doesn't support HDR or high frame rate...     So, I just got a 1080p 280hz HDR monitor thinking I'm moving up in the world. only to find that my Xbox Series S doesn't support HDR or high frame rate gaming on anything outside of 4K resolution. Funny thing is from Mac to PlayStation every device recognizes the monitor as HDR and high framerate...its only Xbox.
    so, I'm pleading with the engineers, take pity on poor folk and let us enjoy high framerate and HDR at any resolution.

    I understand your frustration and disappointment with not being able to fully utilize your new monitor with your Xbox Series S. Unfortunately, the infeasibility of hardware is directly related to the price, the PS5 all digital edition has a higher value than the xbox series s, and has more hardware. The engineers, do not have a direct channel with the customers, and they work according to the demand of the Xbox Microsoft board, who are the ones who decide what will be manufactured, hopefully we can have the best hardware in the next generations.
