A Player Successfully DDoS'ed Me Through Xbox Live

(I apologize if I posted this in the wrong area or if I'm not going about this correctly, as this is my first time dealing with an issue like this)

Hi. I'm creating this post to alert the Xbox Support Team (or anyone really) that a player by the name of
"Drift sensei" said he was going to DDoS me for about 10 seconds at around 10:12 PM on 7/23/17. A few minutes after he said that, all party
chatter (there were 3 of us) stopped, and I asked what happened, and after a few seconds passed, everyone in the party except me had the "Connecting" icon by their name. After about 10 to 15 seconds, the chat continued and
    Drift sensei said
"Yo LMK, I just did it, RedFidgetSpiner (the other guy in our party) is my witness".
(If needed, I have footage of the whole thing happening)

So how exactly do I go about this? I've already reported him through Xbox, is that enough though? I've never had to deal with a situation on Xbox like this before and I'm unaware of what exact steps are supposed to be taken.

If anyone could provide some insight as to what I need to do (or
IF I need to do anything further) that would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    :)

    Changing locale

If you live in a locale not supported by the Xbox system, you can't create a profile to play Xbox LIVE successfully.

    Xbox Live Subscription error

I just purchased a 3 month Xbox Live subscription and in my payment history, the order went through successfully. However, my xbox live is not registering so I can't start a party nor play online. I've tried restarting my xbox and signing back into my account
but it keeps saying I don't have xbox live even though I have the subscription in my account settings.

    Anyone else having this problem?

If you think someone has tampered with the system just report that person the way you did or block him from further communication. That way you act as a correct gamer by respecting the Code of Conduct yet in the future avoid using other gamers' tags in the
    forums.

ddos has nothing to do with Xbox live nor is it detectable by xbox

Ddos goes though the internet not the Xbox live network

You contact your isp for that kind of stuff

If you have an Xbox Live account, your Xbox console could experience a DoS attack or DDoS attack from another Xbox Live account holder. DoS attacks and DDoS attacks are sometimes used as retaliation between Xbox Live game players.

If you think you've experienced a DoS or DDoS attack, we recommend that you reset your Internet router and contact your Internet service provider (ISP).
If you know who initiated the DoS or DDoS attack, you may also want to submit a player review to Xbox Live and avoid the attacker in the future. (QED)

    ddos'ing

Please contact your Internet Service Provider about this a quick power cycle will help you have been provided the link about DDoS so I suggest you try that and follow it, Your internet service provider should be able to help you with further details about
    it and get it investigated.

    DDOS'ed

If you have reported them then they will be investigated by the enforcement team

You have to remember though that ddos attacks are done via your broadband/internet & not xbox live so that is something you will need to contact your isp about as that is down to them to resolve.

More info on ddos attacks & how to deal with them can be found HERE
