    A new volume bar


    Hi,

    Over the last few days I've noticed there is an additional volume bar when I watch videos and YouTube. When I first noticed it the volume level was at 4, now it's at 2 and has made my videos hard to watch without my Tritton headset because the volume is
    too low. I also noticed that this seemed to correlate with the online notifications of my friends that wasnt previously there. and I'm not sure if this has anything to do with signing up for that preview beta a couple of months ago. Would someone please
    tell me how to control this volume. Before anyone asks, this is not my tv's volume.

    I connected my 360 and left my tv volume at the same level I had it on with my xb1and it sounds correct so it's definitely and xb1 issue. Hopefully, someone will answer this I've asked about five questions in about five years and not one has been answered
    by Microsoft.

    Yes, these are new features with the beta update.

    As for turning up, and down, the volume level in individual apps, you either need to use your stereo headset adaptor and use the power levels on there to turn up the volume, or just wait for the next patch.

    I just got off the phone with support and that was what I was told. Gotta love signing up for the beta! A new volume bar :)

    Yes, these are new features with the beta update.

    When you stated that you checked your volume setting, does that also mean that you checked the individual bars for balancing game volume with party chat volume?

    How do I get the audio at my PC to work thru my Epson overhead projector?

    You can use the volume bar to increase the volume; if it’s all already set to 100, I recommend checking if it’s possible to change the volume on the projector itself. The projector’s manual should provide some guidance on this.
