Modded items

Read a post from a blizzard rep he said that blizzard isn't going to do anything about the issues with modded gear because it's not really ruining people's game they said that if u don't want to play with them then back out or just play with friends

 

Modded Items..?

I hear blizzard may remove characters that has mod gear on the next update. Hope its true but I know blizzard all to well. ;P

 

Not the only one. It is hard to find a game above torment without modded players. SERIOUSLY XBOX, FIGURE THIS OUT.

 

Yeah, its kind of sad. Someone came into my game the other day and gifted me not one but two professional russian fast swords, incrasing my damage from 500k to 8000k. First I thought it was awesome, but even running through T3 became a joke. I do get owned
in T6 even with that item though.

So I made it simple, I play with that item only locking out myself but when in a public game, I switch to normal weapons (unmodded ones).

But these modded weapons get to you, switching to slower weapon makes you grind and plan your moves vs just keep "A" pressed.

I have politely asked others to remove their modded item and play with normal, but when they dont listen I either take mine out or hop games. Not sure what is the best to fix/avoid this.

I can probably resolve to now just put my sword in stash away for good. Maybe use it on new heroes in single player to level up faster.

One has to work in a mutual understanding, I have come across some players who themselves have modded items and don't mind playing. So as a gamer one should figure out how to level your playing field, play modded with modded and play normal with normal.
Be respectful, let others enjoy the game too.

It does not hurt to ask the person to put the item away. AcidGlowx, you are in my friend list, so yell if you see me wielding that item. (It's addictive unless you want the second sword that I have sitting in my stash!)

Seriously with the cheating. I walked in a room and instantly gained 200 paragon levels before I realized what's going on.

I don't want them. I wanted to earn my way up. Now I can't even play because every room is full of cheaters. I don;t even get why that's fun. There's no challenge, no need for gear, etc. etc. What's the point?
