A lot of account suspensions?

I've been with Xbox now since the original back in 2002, and I've been a fairly regular reader of these forums, and I've noticed a hug upswing in the amount of "suspension" posts lately.

What is going on? I mean I've been on Xbox Live pretty much since it got released in Europe (my first game on line was on Top Spin, great game) and over the years you would see a "suspension" post every once in a while. Now though they are coming pretty
much ever single day, and usually have the same content "I've been banned but I don't know what I did, I haven't done anything"

Is it because people just don't seem to have any sort of self control? perhaps they think its ok to just vent at people if things aren't going their way.

Thanks for the response Walshy! Well, you could either have a friend download their profile on your console and try it out, or you could just download your profile again to see if it helps anyway. No harm in trying.

When you say other people's "information" isn't getting to you, what are you referring to? Are you not receiving LIVE messages or party invites? Also, are you having this lag consistently in all games, or only certain ones? Does it seem the fast-paced games
seem to have more lag? Let me know, thanks!

 

Lost a lot of achievements

Think the problem is that you deleted & recovered your profile.When you recover your profile it will be from the last time you were signed into live,Aug 2013 in your case.

 

When we joined xbox live there were less than a million people on it.

Now there's about 45-50 million so more people are getting suspended.

The fact that the enforcement forums aren't used anymore & also that clueless phone support staff just tell people to post on the forums only adds to the numbers.

Then you get the ones who either don't bother to read the email they get telling why they are suspended or know exactly why but are trying to pull a fast one with the "i did nothing wrong" posts.

It also means the enforcement team are doing their job.

 

School holidays.

But considering the millions that use xblive every day of the week, i would say it is actually very good, perfect example of the majority far far outweighing the minority on this matter.
