    I never throw, hit or play rough with my controller. One of the bottons have gone loose it’s probably only a small 20c piece that’s worn out but how do I acquire such a thing? If there is any place I can go or other problems it may be could someone direct me?

    Unfortunately my controller warranty is voided due to me cleaning it but this was about 3 days before the warranty was off. So I guess after this crisis new controller I suppose?

    I have a controller with a semi-loose A button, although it's never bothered me enough to return it. Please contact MS support to see if it's under warranty.

    Depending on the age of the controller it may still be under warranty. Microsoft do make it easy to check here, but other than
    that you may need to replace it.

    With regards to attempting a repair on it yourself, I don't know how viable it is, but you may find someone else here that knows more about that than I do.
