A Little Annoyed

Sorry to nit pick but this has aggravated me a bit. So today it is announced The new TitanFall Xbox One Console is going to be 499. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/consoles/bundles/titanfall-bundle#fbid=RjMk0FunU96

So Early Xbox One Adopters like myself in North America gets *** over AGAIN regarding a free game. Killer Instinct is not a free game. Its a Demo that can be unlocked if you pay money. UK got Fifa 14 and now those that waited to get an Xbox One can get TitanFall
as a free game?? Don't get me wrong this is fantastic news for Xbox and those that will be getting a new system but what about me and the many other Day One people that just got the system?

Also it was announced today that in the UK The Xbox One will be 399 as of Feb 28...

Again Great news all around but what about the loyal Fan Base?

I've used my Kinect in 4 different houses without a problem. None of which were "enormous".



It is a bummer for folk that want to use Kinect in a bedroom, but shouldn't be a problem for most people to use in a living room. That was Microsoft's focus anyway; to be in the living room.

The BEST position for Kinect is above and behind your HDTV on the wall...they even have a wall mounting bracket for such endeavors (and they said this very thing in a kinect show vid recently)...I have mine sitting on my center channel speaker, which just
so happens to be in the aforementioned position.

 

You've gotten to play the console for the past 3 months, whereas those others have had to wait.

Also should add that the 399, is pounds. Which is the equivalent of 600 US dollars.

 

No one had to wait? it was their Choice to wait. Also, Those in the UK get paid in their own Currency so really that doesn't matter. It would be a problem if a Canadian had to purchase the Xbox One from the UK.

 

Then you just answered your own question. You should have waited. You didn't have to buy the console at release. Everyone knew a better deal would come along eventually.

 

499 is a great price for the console. You do realise £399 is $664.89 so the UK still getting stiffed

 

and that's why I waited, sorry op. but I think Microsoft's titanfall bundle and price drop in the UK is because PS4 are selling like hot cakes....

 

after Tax and Converting from USD to GBP, We pay more for our consoles and games then Americans

I bought my Day One Edition and as of now I have 10 Xbox One games and even bought another controller with the charger. I already put a lot of money into the Xbox One but I don't feel like I have wasted money at all. I plan on buying Titanfall on release
so this bundle doesn't have any effect on me. I have had no issues with my console so far. I am happy I bought my Xbox One when I did.

 

I think it's a joke. Paid extra to be part of the Xbox One Beta. Thankfully in the UK we have pretty solid sale of goods act so considering returning my unit as faulty as it doesn't do what it said on the tin but waiting for Xbox Support to get back to me
first.

Here in the UK the Xbox Support are collating complaints to take to managers. The more people that complain the better.

There have also been suggestions that MS should reduce Titanfall to 50% as a DOWNLOAD as a peace offering to all those Xbox one's registered prior to this price drop. So in the uk that would be £30 and $35 in US.

FREE would be about the only thing to calm me down

Effectively knocked £80 of the value of my purchase just 3 months after launch, it's called taking the pi**

 

It happens you choose to be an early adopter of the console.

 

It happened with the original xbox aswell. But I got 3-5 free games because of it.

 

We of the loyal fan base, in exchange for purchasing it so early on, have been able to enjoy it since then and before everyone else. Microsoft isn't trying to screw over anybody. They're just trying to gain a bigger presence in the UK. This offer is simply
to boost system sales.
