    A laundry list of issues on my series x


    First things first I have already tried report a problem...thats my first problem. Generally I have been lucky have not had too many issues until now.

    Report a problem. Either crashes...something went wrong try later or just gets stuck uploading now and does nothing.

    Series x gets stuck in endles reboot loop..with or witout external HDD.

    UI is sluggish and not very responsive wish they had made a real next gen ui and ditched the windows based garbage.. Ref PS5 for real next gen ui. Windows is a relic that has no place on a console .

    Forza horizon 4 will not connect to forza online and when it does it disconnects .

    Gears 5 crashes to a black screen or crashes from match making.

    Tried hard reset no change . Will opt out and do factory reset. Hopefully that will fix issues. If rebooting continues will contact MS for RMA.

    Hello KnockoutVirus,

    Have you tried a full power cycle of your console?

    1) Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    2) Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds. [I recommend longer]

    *Important* Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3) Plug the console power cable back in.

    4) Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    Sometimes a simple power cycle could help fix a bunch of petty bugs. Let me know if you have done this, and the outcome!

    What's your powermode set to? If its on instant on, that can potentially cause some issues every now and then. If this is the case, try and set it to energy saving and restart your console.

    If that does not work, I can only recommend a factory reset.

    If you don't fancy installing all your games again, copy them unto a external harddrive before the factory reset.

    Figured out the randomly shutting down issue. Apparently the setting for shutting down for inactivity was set back to 1 hour instead of never like i usually have it
