A HDR game list for Xbox One S?

Will there be a official list for HDR games for Xbox One S?

You can filter HDR game in the store, but those are for "X".

I bought a HDR TV for this console, and there are so few HDR games. VERY disappointment.

When I post this, I found, in the "Topic" dropbox, there an "Xbox One" and an "Xbox One X". So "Xbox One S" is an "Xbox One", it won't get any "enhanced"?

There's no official support documentation specifically about the Xbox One X yet.

However, I'd imagine it will at least have the same support for 4K+HDR carried over from the Xbox One S, the specifications and troubleshooting of which can be found below.

Hello Snake,

Thanks for bringing the question to us. There are a few things that could cause this. First being the TV is not one of the recommended HDR for 4k that the Xbox support. For example if the TV is not HDR it will only support certain aspects of 4k. To check
on 4K and compatibility I will provide you with a few links to look over and troubleshoot the 4K.

Erm........................You do realise that any game that runs on the Xbox One X also runs on the Xbox One S? And because of this, any game that is HDR on the Xbox One X is also HDR on the Xbox One S.

So basically, any game you find that is HDR on the Xbox One X is also HDR on the Xbox One S

 

Is that official?

HDR is an "Xbox One X Enhanced" feature for those games, that's official words.

For example Rise of the Tomb Raider, NO HDR on Xbox One S.

 

An Xbox One S will not download the game enhancements for an Xbox One X.

As it clearly states in the store "Xbox One X Enhanced", not Xbox One S.

 

Doesn't Forza Horizon 3 have HDR support on Xbox One S? Microsoft did mention something about it.

Other than that, there is very little hardware improvement between the S and original Xbox One consoles. Both use the same 1.75Ghz processor. Both use the same 8GB DDR3 slow bandwidth of 68.3GB/s. Xbox One X has better hardware than the PS4 Pro and is a
major hardware revision. Until Sony get their next console out, Xbox One X is currently the most powerful console, official words from Microsoft. And the X model is also slightly smaller than the S model too. Just don't expect to see all the Xbox One X Enhancements
on the S model. The S model doesn't have the rawr power like the X has.

Take for example Zoo Tycoon. Frontier gave the Xbox One version multiplayer and Kinect support, as well as more animal variety and bigger parks. Xbox 360 version of that game got no Kinect support and no multiplayer, smaller zoos due to quote "hardware limitations".
The S model of Xbox One equates to a low end to lower-mid end gaming pc. So don't expect a long list of games in HDR or enhancements like the X.
