A Hacker / user on xbox live by the gamer tag [Mod Removed] is hacking in the community and getting people's Internet ip and scaring people. I have personally talked to a Microsoft support worker who has reported and passed on the situation
to the owner and maybe get him a ban till 31.9 .999999 . I hope everyone has learnt to stay out of public lobbies intil I he is banned . I suggest friends lobbies and invite only.

In my experience, people only say they are going to hack you to scare you. My saying that does NOT in any way mean that it should be taken lightly. You should be reporting anyone who threatens to hack you or claims to be a hacker. Follow the steps Kuza Kyo
has given you and keep them in mind for the future. While most XBL users only wish to have fun and stay safe, there are those who are not so kind in their online activities.

If you haven't already, you would need to file a complaint on them via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate him. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums.

The enforcement steps ARE, regardless of any badgering, the ONLY steps available to players to dissolve this issue. Rockstar has NOT released any relevant updates for GTA IV in months and with GTA V in post-prod. it's safe to say they probably will not.
It's suggested you follow Xbox LIVE's enforcement steps and STAY OFF GTA IV-Multiplayer. 'Freeze boosters' and DDoS attacks are just a few examples of how flawed and damaged this game is.

It's never a good idea to participate in modded lobbies. Not only is it not a good idea for simple ToU reasons, but by participating in these lobbies you are also enabling them. I realize this is a old post but the problem still continues..
