Xbox live accout stolen and migrated to Brazil 4 months ago!

OH. MY. GOD. Thank you Toasty, Thank you BIllowypanther! I feel like I have been living in a twilight zone episode! I just counted the days since I reported my exact. same. issue. My account was stolen from me and migrated to Brazil. Purchases were made
after I had reported the account stolen to xbox live. Money was taken out of my bank account by thieves, via purchases made on my stolen account. It has now been 100 days today since I reported the problem on August 28th. No resolution. No contact from MIcrosoft.
I call in regularly and can not even reach a supervisor. Now me, a paying, loyal Microsoft consumer has been hung out to dry while the multi-billion corporation who was in custody of my identity and debit card information (which I had registered with them
over the phone directly through Microsoft support) is taking 100 days to chase some punk in Brazil and sticking me with a bill like I can afford it.

Your best bet would be to contact phone support and have them open an unauthorized access investigation. They can tell if you were not in control of your account when this happened. Please note that your account will likely be frozen while the investigation
is taking place. 800-4MY-XBOX for the US and Canada.

The only way it'll look like you spent it is if it was your IP address. They can check that and if it is indeed not you...they will take care of it. Contact support.

Love it when the largest tech companies don't even blink when I tell them that a Russian hacker has stolen my information on an account that I have spent over $1000 on, and refer me to a **** account recovery forum.

i honestly don't think they are getting our accounts from ea at all. i myself just had this happen and i have different passwords for my live account and ea account. the "hackers" are just using a scanner that goes through endless list of usernames and passes
for xbox.. the only reason people think ea is the source for the stolen accounts is because fifa is the game that the hackers are using to make money from your points they steal. they purchase coins or whatever in the game itself then trade them to another
profile and sell them online to make money.
