A Game Keep Installing Itself On My Xbox One S!

Hey guys, posting this because months of random google searches have come up empty for me. I installed Cities: Skylines off of the Game Pass over a year ago, and have deleted it off of my hard drive no less than 20 times. I have explored every conceivable
reason: I turned off automatic updates/downloads so now I update all of my games manually, and I have cleared my cache and hard reset the console many times. I do game share with a friend, but I've asked and he has never installed or played the game. Even
if it was him, that should have been solved when I turned off automatic updates/downloads.

When I delete the game, it disappears from my "installed" library usually for about 2-3 days, and then magically reappears. There are not any other games in my library that do this.

I've tried launching the game, but the OS tells me there's a problem with the game file.

Please help. I don't know how much more I can take. This game is haunting my dreams.

Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with a game that you have uninstalled still appearing on your installed page. To troubleshoot this, you may want to perform a

Factory Reset on your console, this should refresh the console's game list. You can try at first with keeping your games & apps installed, if the issue persists you will need to reset and remove all content from the console to ensure the Xbox's hard drive
and operating system are completely reset.

Maybe the xbox was lagging and it was just trying to install from a previous time that you tried to install said game

That would make sense if it happened once, but it's been reinstalling itself over and over again for months.

I have the xbox one s, the game is install in my internal storage and its happening onely with rainbow six siege. I did a power cycle, factory reset but keep the games install, removed the cash and reset the persistan storage.

Mine will occasionally do this, mostly when I'm about to sleep. I just power it off or leave it alone.

Do you have it on energy saving or instant on?
