I had a minecraft world ive been playing recently disappear on me, found thread on here first saying saying delete local saves(i didn't want to do this because i was not sure what other games i might lose my local saves for) so i read further down says
try uninstalling game and reinstalling, so i try this. when i go to reinstall it its missing form games i can install so i go to store tells me i can "play for now or buy to own" so im wondering am i going to be stopped from playing it at some point and be
forced to rebuy the game? and for the record that did not bring my world back guess ill just have to start over

You should check your payment through the option you chose when purchasing as if they took both payments you should be due a refund if you have the proof. I would get on to Xbox support over the phone or through chat as this should never happen.

i bought this game when it was on offer and now the offer has ended I have to re buy the game. I was wondering why this was.

I'm sorry to hear that happened. Now, there's a few things we would like to be clarified. How did you obtain the game Minecraft? Do you recall if you purchased it online digitally or did you purchase the Disc version? I'll start off by recommending
to log in to your account online and verify this purchase if it was digitally purchased.

When choosing to 'Clear local saved games'
it won't delete your data. Clear local saved games:
This will clear out saved games from the console. This can be helpful if a game fails to launch because of a corrupted save.

While you're playing a game, game data is stored on your Xbox One console and the Cloud. Xbox Live keeps important data in sync so you don't lose anything if you use another console or switch to a new one.

To troubleshoot recovering your Minecraft world, I suggest for you to remove your profile from the Xbox as this is on the
Minecraft Forums
as a suggestion to recover a lost world. Here are the steps:

Press the Xbox button
to open the guide.

Select System >
Settings > Account
>Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove, and then select
Remove to confirm.

After removing the account perform a
Power Cycle:

Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xboxbutton
on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 30 seconds.

Important: Be sure to wait 30 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Now, you can add your Microsoft account to any Xbox One console. Here's how:

Press the Xbox button
to open the guide.

Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select
Add new.

Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select
Enter.

i have a physical copy of the 360 version and then payed the $5 for the xb1 version because i had the physical 360 version :

MINECRAFT: XBOX ONE EDITION
$4.99

Completed

then when the new version of it came out it told me it was free or w/e because i already owned the xb1 version

i also tried clearing the local saves and did nothing im not gonna bother trying to remove acc and all that i only played the world for about a week i have no problem starting over.

I would suggest you to wait until tomorrow. But in the meantime, try to download the Windows 7/8 launcher. Try playing the game using it.
