    A game got purchased without my approval and I think it was a game share bug.


    Recently I started game sharing with another friend of mine so that I can play R6 Siege. Recently however I noticed that I got a purchase from my Paypal account saying that I bought siege and that it was bought around the 15th. I have no idea how this happened
    because I never purchased the game nor does anyone have access to my account so I am asking to see if anyone has some clarification to what is going on right now because I want to make sure that this doesn't happen again.

    I'm having this problem as well. The thing is, I've already purchased free games with gold for X360 in previous months without any problem. I never had a X360.

    I think this might be a bug.

    Hello BESTorNOTHIN,

    Since you did not make that purchase with your Microsoft Account as the payment method, it was not your first Microsoft Account purchase and did not qualify for that offer.

    A game got purchased without my approval and I think it was a game share bug.

    The only way he could have bought something on your account is if you gave him your account information (which you should not do) or left your account on his console and he signed into it. If you just set his console as your Home and removed your account,
    he wouldn't be able to make any purchases on your account.

    Hello, I am having the same frustrating error when trying to install Game Pass games. After doing some testing I noticed that I can install games that don't say "Administrator Approval required for installation". I think there is a bug where the app is failing to request administrator approval so it just errors and doesn't install the game.

    Games such as Sea of thieves or Broken age that don't require administrator approval install fine for me.

    Under most circumstances there are no refunds for digital content or in game points/funds even when it is purchased by your son. Put a passcode on your account and stop him from making purchases without your approval to prevent it from occurring again but unfortunately I think this is gonna have to be a learning experience.
