    A fond farewell

I usually only play on one console through a generation, and I'm kinda of sad, this generation is gonna be ps4 for me. Been with xbox since 01' religiously, and now its over. Since I was nine years old, and now I defect! Ah well, had to post this somewhere,
felt like a goodbye to Xbox would be nice. Hope everyone has fun this generation whatever they do! In about three weeks I become a turncoat.

    :)

    Getting discontinued ?

I hope before they reduce and eventually end support for this console, that they at least release an update that changes the dashboard. The whole point of the "Metro" layout is so that MS can control the space on the dash. Deliver adverts, and promote content
    etc.

When the console isn't connected to Live the dashboard is horrendous. So maybe a nice Home screen gamers can customise, as a fond farewell to the system. That'd be nice. So in years to come when people get their old 360's out they can enjoy a pleasant looking
Dashboard and a fond experience, without a bunch of solid black screens recommending a connection to Live.

    S'my two bits. =)

    A fond farewell

i am probably super late at this point, but i am still debating on what console i should get first. with the xbox one having the value, and the ps4 having the performance, i am at a pause. the xbox one has much potential to have both value and performance,
then i could get the ps4 just for exclusives, but from where I stand, the getting an xbox one is taking a big risk of getting a defective console that will work for less than a year. i don't know much about the ps4, and im not a fanboy of either, but i am
    at a lose.

Just become a true gaming aficionado and buy all three. I always own every console every gen. I have a ONE and a Wii U and I'll get a PS4 when God of War comes out.

  10. I kinda regret buying both consoles last gen as it's having the time to make use of them. I really not played the truly amazing games on the PS3. A lot depends how much free time you can truly dedicate to gaming. Think this gen will be different for me
as I'm prepared to wait for the games to appear 1st. Like op it looks PS4 this gen as it is more powerful and most likely have better original new games to play on it.

  11. @knopssos-My nephew is going from 360 to PS4 this year to so game on=)

@wild-I can agree there having all 3 last gen systems myself does get time consuming alternating between them daily but does open up a vast gaming experience. PS3 for Uncharted's,GoW and the amazing Last of Us, Wii for Resident Evil's and Mario's and 360
    for everything else.

As sweet as the PS4 is i'm going with the awesome Xbox One this Christmas as i have been drooling over Ryse since first sight of it and as time goes on if the One can give me what the 360 has or even beat it out than i'm in gamer heaven. I'll pick up the
PS4 and Wii-U eventually and the cycle will continue.

I just got an Xbox One and Ryse is a good game. I've heard it was very short but I've been having a lot of fun with it as it seemingly displays multiple points of the new xbox's power.

Buying an Xbox means big risk of getting a defective console! Thanks for that laugh I think you should stick to reading things on the Internet as a past time.

Anything you buy in life is at risk of being or becoming defective. Even your body will eventually become defective.

so when you buy a 350 tp 500 dollar product, and its defective, then you replace it for another one and it breaks down on you 3 months later, are you saying people are okay with that? because I never hear the end of it.

  15. Wait until you're old enough to buy a house or a car and realise they break, then talk about costs.
