    A follow up on the Xbox Live moderation system for the community to read.


    I'd like to warn other people here based on my experience with the Xbox Live platform about something important which could prevent them from getting any unnecessary enforcements actions against them in future.

    If somebody annoys you for whatever reason, whether they did this to you in a multiplayer match on Xbox Live, or if they said something hurtful to you or your friends in the messaging system, or like in my case if they attacked you on a different platform but you wanted to give them a taste of their own medicine on Xbox Live

    My suggestion is don't, just block that person on all the platforms you're on and be done with it.

    As I've stated in the link here, I've not made further attempts to contact this individual I had an argument with on Xbox Live through their messaging system because I don't want further enforcement actions against my account and this jerk isn't worth a perma suspension and loss of all DLC's.

    It's just unfortunate that somebody like this can remain on the site unpunished, hateful people who say horrible things about disabled people on benefits when some of us didn't have a choice in the matter and literally need it to survive, and the site is this way because of a flawed moderation system that doesn't even allow us to show them what happened and why you reacted the way you did towards the other person. We can't upload screenshots about what happened on other social media networks or post links to our profiles to show them evidence, it's like they don't even care. I've accepted there's nothing I can do about it though, I'm just grateful that for now I still have my account.

    Here's my closing thoughts on the matter though,

    if you're going to allow toxic people like this to remain on your platform then you're going to push people away from your platform Microsoft, even without suspensions involved, disability discrimination is not okay, and nor is harassment.

    On Facebook one of my friends has given him a piece of his mind for his ignorant comments,

    and also mentioned to him that his comment was also offensive toward every other person in my situation.

    Not everyone is okay with calling disabled people scroungers. Just because there are some lazy people,

    doesn't give people the right to generalize us.

    I just wanted to ask, is it true that the enforcement system uses a scripted bot to moderate communications on Xbox live? If so then the system itself is kind of susceptible to flaws, correct?

    privacy settings and communications and set it to friends only it is that simple

    on your ghost msgs you can press y and block communications

    I highly doubt you didn't google free gamertag change and youtube it or read moder forums since it is a popular FAIL excuse



    xbox support can never issue a forced gamertag change



    the XBL PET team does and only on violations of the terms of use

    you do not violate the terms of use with that name

    that's why they sent you there



    FYI the xbl live PET team doesn't read this forums



    they only read the suspension forums and you cannot ask it there because of the moderated nature of that forums



    the only way to get a forced gamertag change is simple a complaint must be filed via someome on LIVE and then only if it violates the terms of use

    We understand that you have an issue downloading games which gives you an error code of 0x87e0000f. This error code means either of the following;

    • System not having the latest updates
    • Xbox Live Service is Temporarily unavailable
    • Having trouble connecting to Xbox Live.
    • The game or app download may need to be canceled and then downloaded again.
    Solution are as follows;

    1. Check for a system update
    2. Check the Xbox status
    3. Test your Xbox Live connection.
    4. Cancel or redownload the app or game.
