About how long does it take for Microsoft to start working on my console once they get it? And also, how long does it take for them to finish once they start working on it? Thanks in advance.

A few questions about gamertags

Buying/selling of gamertags is not allowed.

The tag system is in use on other Microsoft services so even if they are not in use on the 360 they may be in use somewhere else. The system also doesn't see things like spaces as different gamertags. So if you were to look up 'gamertag' it may show as available
but would be taken if it was spelled out as 'gamer tag'.

It seems it could be an issue with the power brick according to the RROD guide.,

this sticky thread OP, its worth a shot anyway.

If the security sticker is damaged or removed then the service centre will not touch it.

They will just send it back to you as is.

turn the xbox 360 on, and wait till the 3 red lights are flashing.

Press and hold the sync up button while holding that button press the eject button.

The LEDs will now blink the first number in the code

Release the eject button and press it again.

The LEDs will now blink the second number of the code.

Release the eject button and press it again.

The LEDs will now blink the third number of the code.

Release the eject button and press it again.

The LEDs will now blink the forth number of the code.

Release the eject button and press it again.

The LEDs will go back to the 3 red flashing lights.

and for you to understand this

All four lights flashing = 0

One light flashing = 1

Two Lights flashing = 2

Three lights flashing = 3
