A few Issues with live TV

Hi

I was wondering if there was any answers to the following issues:

1) I have a Panasonic TV, to power it on you have to hold the power button for a few seconds, the Xbox doesn't appear to "press the button" for long enough and therefore doesn't turn the TV on, it does try you can see the light flicker on the TV and once
in a blue moon it actully turns it on/ it turns it off and controls volume fine however.

2) If I have the volume up it just won't listen to my commands, this is most noticeable during the credits at the end of shows when I'm trying to turn the whole thing off, I end up yelling "Xbox turn off" and it still ignores me until the wife gets fed up
and demands I use the remote "like a normal person", I tuned it with the volume all the way up but still no luck

3) The picture quality seems worse than when it is directly plugged into the TV, the two most noticeable things are a weird ghosting effect against a green background, almost like a pixalated outline (so annoying during close ups of players during footie
matches) and sometimes static white logos appear to move, the F1 logo in the bottom right corner on sky sports live races is a great example of this, the "spikes" keep getting longer and shorter. Neither of these issues happen when plugged in through the TV
and also the picture just seems less sharp, it was incredible before (made us shell out £1600 for the thing) but through the Xbox it is average at best.

Live TV problems since the Nov. update

Since the November update I have been experiencing live TV issues. The picture will work for a few seconds then freeze, then go to black and the "lost connection" graphic appears. I am using a Comcast issued Cisco RNG150N HD cable box with a Phillips TV.
Any known issues or trouble shooting steps to go through?

 

A few issues.

Update. I got it to boot to the dashboard and when I selected notifications it froze. This happened twice. Got it to boot a third time and went into destiny played a match. Halfway through the match the sound got unsynced and lage behind overlays on th ui
stopped showing up and the xbox froze again. Now it's back to square one.

 

Sorry just remember the last point.

4) When I tell it go to TV it comes up with an error telling me to check the HDMI cable as I haven't got the sky on yet (might be an idea to tell people to turn on there STB before telling them to start pulling out cables don't you think?) however if I don't
turn the sky on within a couple of seconds the screen doesn't go away until I turn the sky off and on again for some reason, it just goes black every 10 seconds then comes up with the same error, I turn the sky off and on again and wait 10 seconds and everything
is fine, another solution to this would be to get the sky to power on with the goto TV command (or just when the whole system turns on but that might be a waste of electric if I just want to play a game)

 

No ideas? I was hoping someone would have replied by now

 

Ok number 4's sorted now the Xbox turns the sky on but still waiting for an answer to the other three. Come on this was months ago, I would like an answer to number 1 at least as that's really annoying.

 

Still no answer. C'mon this is taking the *** now.
