1. Are the Servers Region Locked? Will this stop UK people playing with their US buddies?

2. Can you choose any race? If you don't pre-order what are the restrictions?

3. How many characters can you have at one time?

4. What are some good sites that give general advice about racial benefits, classes and builds?

Thanks. That really upsets me. I tried to lure the dragon away from the village but it just ignored me. Will the guards at least come back?

 

A few questions..

1 - No, it's not the point, but if that's what you feel like doing, feel free. The bonfire is so you don't have to travel from the Burg to the bridge over and over if you die. That's what the bonfires are for; checkpoints. You'll learn to really appreciate
them later.

2 - To purchase arrows and bolts, visit the merchant in the Undead Burg. He'll sell three kinds of each but make sure you buy multiples. The price is
not the amount of arrows. Also, make sure you have the dexterity to wield the bows of your choice.

3 - Yes, it is normal. Depending on your pacing in the game, you can spend hours or less in areas that some people can be stuck on for days. It just takes patience and time, is all. Read up the hints on the grounds left by other players for weakness, warnings,
and the like. I still haven't fought the Gaping Dragon yet, although I think I could defeat him, I just rather wait a bit. Besides, it's fun to be summoned for help!

There are two megaservers. One for NA and one for EU. On PC you can play both by downloading different clients. For Xbox One you are suppose to be able to choose either server.

If you pre-order you get the Explorers Pack which includes playiing any race on any faction. Otherwise you are locked into picking 1 of the 3 races per faction per character. There are 3 factions.

16 character slots

Deltiasgaming.com is the best. He Twitches and he does YouTube videos to teach you the details of ESO. Look for his Tamriel A-Z series of videos. You can skip the PC specific stuff, like how to buy the game on PC...haha, and focus on when he goes over races,
classes, and builds.

Also feel free to join our Trade guild. We have veterans coming over from PC that can help. Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

Just to clarify... "downloading different clients"...

What does that mean? Make 1 character on the EU Server and another character on the US Server?

 

For the PC, you download different clients, which also means different characters.

On Xbox One, I don't know the selection method., but I'm pretty sure characters won't transfer between NA and EU. You pick a. Server and create a character for that server.

 

A correction, I think. The beta allowed 16 character slots but the official forum has said that it will be only 8 as it is in the PC on launch.

 

Hey, as long as it's not 1 and pay for each additional slot I've got no complaints. 8 is plenty if there's as much to do in this game as it seems.

They display a price for purchasing crowns but this information is secret until you've signed up.
