    A Documentation Of Events

Hello, i'm writing this in Microsoft's pubic forum to have at least a modicum of proof and to make this public.

For the last few months a user with the gamertag [Mod Removed – Personal Information]has been harassing me.

He has made my time on xbox insufferable but this time he has crossed a line.

He is the by far one of the most toxic people i have ever known.

He gets communications banned a lot so he has alternate xbox accounts.

    2 of them are[Mod Removed – Personal Information]and
    [Mod Removed – Personal Information].

he has 2 others that are using my real name that he uses to harass me with.

He will join parties i'm in with other people just to use them to try and Dox me.

He has used these accounts in the last week to mass report me and now i'm comm banned for a week.

He has told my friends that he intends to keep doing this till i'm console banned.

I have already reported him and his other accounts to xbox, i tried to appeal the ban but whatever lie he told then stuck.

I'm posting this to try and get Microsoft's attention or at least have someway as to make a record of trying.

I have reported him before for this behavior and nothing seems to happen and now he trying to use the system to just make me
    miserable.

I Love playing on Xbox and i don't want this harassment to continue so Microsoft please do something to help.

    :)

    Xbox Documentation?

I have been trolling around the forums for a couple hours now and searching the MS website - find lots of error/support capability, but I just want a good, old fashioned, reference doc on using/setting up, configuing Xbox andXbox live.

there just a lot of little things I am trying to do and don know how. Anything out there like a Resource Kit for MS Exchange, Server or the like? Yep, I am the type to read them cover to cover.

Sorry, but no one here on the forums can address issues dealing with enforcement actions. Also The Enforcement team does not monitor the forums.

You will need to visit Xbox's enforcement page to find out any information about your current case.

Here are some links that might be useful for future reference.

If someone harasses you online just report or block them. Don't use other gtags in the forums to name and shame.

mass reporting does not work, Infact if you file more than one complaint it can actually count against the person filing it and you can only be banned if you broke the code of conduct.

You are best reporting then blocking the player, you can also prevent him joining your parties and messaging you if you change your online communications settings to friends only.

If you are being harassed by a single account, report that account and block communications with that account, by using the block feature on the account's profile page.

If the person uses multiple accounts to get around bans and your blocks, temporarily set your account's privacy and online settings to "Friends only" on
Sign in to your Microsoft account.

That way, only people from your own friend list can now talk to you.

As for "mass reporting": It doesn't work like this. If your gamertag gets reported multiple times in a short period of time, the reporting service consolidates multiple reports into only one report, that simply "bubbles up" faster in the reporting queue.

The Enforcement Team member only sees one report, no matter how many people "mass reported" you, or if only one person reported you.

However, each report has data and telemetry from your and the other consoles attached as evidence (for example a text message that was reported is attached to the report as evidence).

If the evidence attached to the report shows that you did nothing, the Enforcement Team member won't do anything. You will NOT be suspended, even if you were (wrongfully) reported.

However if the evidence attached to the report shows you violated the Code of Conduct or the Xbox Live Terms of Use the Enforcement Team will act on that report. No matter how many (or how few) people report you.
