A Crazy Question About Blocking People On Xbox One!

So how is it I can BLOCK someone on an Xbox One, but they still show up as a FOLLOWER? Xbox One even suggest them as a friend. That makes perfect sense to me, but then I'm not really a big fan of the "followers" catagory
on our friends list anyways. What's the point of blocking a user if they can still follow you... like they're a friend? When you block someone it tells you they will be removed if they're on your friends list but I guess if they're following they're not? I'm
not confused at all... lol

Infected blocking? Really guys?!

So is this a new thing lately, helping a buddy out once you're infected, by blocking a doorway or staircase?? It's driving me crazy, and I'm seeing it more and more. I'm starting to report these people because frankly, I want to quit and leave the match
once this starts happening (no fun anymore) but don't want to lose the match points I've earned. I know I'm not the only one reporting them, I've witnessed many angry people online threatening them. So my question is: Is this really considered "cheating"
and what will happen to these people?

They won't see you have blocked them, instead it'll just seem like you can't hear them/they can't hear you. So your other friends may have to relay messages if anything is directed between you two.

 

I am constantly finding i have followers that i have never even met.

They can somehow add me to their friends list and follow me without me even knowing.

I never play online and never see these people on here, i have no idea where they find me.

I don`t even own an xbox one.

I remove and block them via this site, and they never reappear.

 

That's weird. I didn't know you could have followers on the 360? As far as where followers come from... I think I get more from these forums than I do from games I play. It'd be nice if there was an easier way to remove
them. Blocking isn't working for me. It's the only option available at the moment. It would be nice to be able to remove or delete them.

 

If you hover over your tag in the top right of the page, and then click the friends option from the drop down menu, you can find all your followers there.

From that page i click on their profile, block them and then delete them.

Once i have done that the same tag has never followed me again.

They are probably xbox one users sending me friend requests that don`t show up on my 360.

I really don`t understand why anyone wants to follow me or be my friend when not once have they ever met, spoke or played with me??

 

Hmmm, I tried going to the friends section on this site but I have no option to delete my followers after I click on them. Arrrrrrgh! lol It really shouldn't be this complicated.

 

You only click on their profile to block them.

You remove them using the little minus sign next to their gamertag on the site.

 

Ahhhh, well they've been blocked, however, they still show on my followers list and there is only a little plus beside their gamertag. I give up. lol

 

They must be stalkers rather than followers, they are much harder to get rid of.
