A couple issues with my xbox lately.

Here recently my xbox has been giving me some trouble. I've had the kinect not turning on, but I'll unplug it and plug it back in and it works, but only for a few mins then turns back off again. Secondly, every time I turn on my xbox the screen has been
rreally dimmed and hard to see anything. I restart the xbox and it's fine. These issues aren't necessarily big problems, but it is annoying to have to restart my xbox and constantly unplug and plug in my xbox every time I start it up. Does anyone else have
this problem? Or has anyone found a solution? The only thing I've noticed is everything worked fine before this last big system update we just had a couple weeks ago. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Ambassador Issue

I was wondering if there were any issues being noted with the ambassador program lately....? Within the last couple months I haven't received any questions via my messaging? Please Help!!!

 

A couple issues

A couple times now, a couple seconds after turning on the XB1, it turns itself off so I would have to turn on again. After that it works fine.

Second issues is sometimes when I eject a disc, the xbox would suck it back in before I have time to retrieve it.

Anyone else having any of these issues? Anything I can do to fix it?

So have you power cycled you xbox? As in, have you (when the xbox is on), held down the power button for 10second until it switches off, then unplugged the power brick and left it for a minute or two?

It could be that the update may have caused a few issues for you, as from what i've been reading it seems to have happened to a few people, however it is worth trying to power cycle, as it can fix an amazing amount of issues

I tried the power cycle and it fixed the dimmed screen issue, but I still have problems with my Kinect, I have to unplug and plug it back in to get it to turn on, then after 10 mins or so it shuts itself off, so if I want to use the kinect I have to unplug
and plug it back in just to use it quickly in that small window and it's very annoying.

From what i've read it could be that your kinect may need repair The power cylce tends to fix the issue for most people, however for those that it doesn't, they usually end up sending it in for repair. Hopefully someone else may have a few more tips,
but thats all I've got sorry

Try holding console button for 8 seconds then unplug from power supply unplug Kinect from console.

Plug back into power supply and power up console go into setting and choose Kinect.

Now plug Kinect into console it takes about 10 seconds to recognize then you will need to do the setup tests, if that doesn't work you will need to set up repair/exchange good luck.
