    so the xbox 360 slim has little rubber feet on one side, so the console can be placed vertically. i didn't notice that, and i accidentally placed my xbox upside down on the wrong side, vertically. the console was off at the time and not running, so could
    that have damaged my xbox? it's old, and hasn't RRoD yet, and i want to keep it running for as long as possible. thank you all for your help.

    is xbox live ending for 360

    My main concern is when my Xbox 360 needs to download an update to play an old xbox game or even a xbox 360 game. Is this a valid concern?

    so it should be fine right? it was left there for about 2 minutes before i realized that it was on the wrong side. it was off during the whole time. (i'm so overprotective of my xbox XD)

    Concerned about connection

    I have no problem with connection in mw2. I pull host a lot of the time. Most of the room has full green, rarely are there yellow pingers. 17 down, 6 up, 15 ping. I didn't enjoy black ops online (didn't make it to a full prestige)

    My connection is pretty bad to begin with, but I don't see how I can have lag free games on Black Ops and then everything goes bad on MW2.

    The PS3 uses OpenGL wrapper around its native AP, Xbox uses DirectX , OpenGL is ancient and crap compared to DirectX ,even the colors look worse

    Same thing is going to happen with Ps4 , it using OpenGL again, Its missing MANY features from DirectX ,no wonder people are already saying how bad BattleField 4 looks on Ps4
