A CHARGE ON MY CARD I DID NOT DO

Not exactly sure how it works. In my case I used a credit card with a zero balance. They did charge the card but on my credit card online statement the card showed the charge but I still had a zero balance. Now the charge has been taken off the card like

Sounds like a recurring membershio you forgot to cancel verify on the account your memberships and make sure you dont have one

if you go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders you can see what the charge is for.

if this is for something you didn't authorise go to https://account.microsoft.com/security/ and check Sign In Activity to see if someone else has signed in to your account.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on a charge. Have you added a card to a family or friend console for subscription at one point? Like maybe a 1$ promotion for Xbox live gold. The charge could be a recurring charge for
the subscription. If you are not sure, you can request a call or chat with a support agent. If they can look the card up, and verify the account, they can give you information on it.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

• Step 1 ----click on Contact us
  
• Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
  
• Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next
  
  Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.
