A Change in Xbox Ambassador Requirements

Hello, my name is Jimmy and my gamertag is "." I would like to start a poll on whether or not to change the requirements of the application of the Xbox Ambassador Program. The requirements to become an ambassador state: 1. Must be 17 years of
age, 2. Must have at least 1500 Gamerscore, 3. Must have Xbox Live Gold, and 4. Must have NO prior reinforcement actions on the profile. All the requirements are fair and fine but has a sort of "disadvantage" to the rule. For example, my situation is that
I already act as an Ambassador, working with the community, reporting rule breakers and modders, etc. Although the problem is, at one time I referred to someone as an inappropriate word, and had a communications suspension for two days. Now when I'd like
to actually apply for the Ambassador title, I am not allowed because of one little mess-up. What I said was basically nothing in compared to what other gamers say and do, yet I was punished. Help me get this up-voted and changed even a little to help the
little guys like me! A Change in Xbox Ambassador Requirements :D

    :)

    Can't Become Xbox Ambassador

Enforcement actions are not removed from your history. Unless the ambassador requirements change in the future, you will not be able to become an ambassador.

Actions have consequences. Comparing your violation to another person's is not how the
Code of Conduct works. Each person is responsible and accountable for what they say and do.

Sorry, don't agree.I personally think the joining requirements should be more strict.

If you've any type of enforcement action then you can't join & it should stay that way.

Just so you both know, I didn't mean get rid of the requirement lol, sorry if it came across that way; I just meant something like taking into consideration of what actions the person has committed or something like that. But I understand where you're coming
    from!

    Hi there immJimmyy,

Being an ambassador isn't just about reporting rule breakers and modders, it's about helping people and showing good will to others. Users don't have to be an ambassador to do any of that.

Saying one transgression is nothing compared to another transgression does not change the fact that a rule was broken.

Ambassadors are often seen as pillars of the community, always working to earn and keep the respect of others (at least that's how I have viewed the Ambassadors in the program since it's inception all those years ago). It's tough to do that if/when one has
broken a rule regardless of when or which rule was broken.

Remember, you can still help users by answering their questions even without the title of ambassador.

Currently, the rules have changed, you can have enforcements, just not in the past year.
