A button spam

Without touching my controller when I start my xbox one it spams the A button. I'm not even touching the controller. my A button isn't stuck either. I've tried restarting the console all different ways. I've tried to see if it was the controllers I owned
and trying someone else's controllers. I have tried all ways but my xbox one will not go back to normal. help!

If you 'spot' someone and it doesn't register, don't spam the button, wait three seconds and do it again. It only happens when you 'spam' the back button trying to spot in a panic. Chill a moment, ADS and spot them again. good hunting.

 

If you don't have a Spotting Medal

Spam the damn spot button!!!

 

So all the controllers you try does the same thing?

Have you tried disconnecting the power cord from the back of the console for at least 5 minutes? If not perform a hard reset as follows Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord
from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Good Luck. Let us know.

 

Are all the controllers you try doing the same thing?

Shut down your xbox and make sure all of the controllers are turned off (Remove the batteries and disconnect from the console). Once you know all the controllers are completely disabled power up the console and see how it reacts without any controllers
active. If it still does the same thing it is probably time to get it serviced. If not put the batteries back in a controller and try it again. Test the console by powering it down and restarting it to see if it is still spamming the A button. This is
really a strange situation. Let us know. Good Luck!

 

So after doing all that you said (sorry for the lag in response) it still wasn't working. So what I did was unplugged everything power cord, HDMI, external hard drive, controller charger, and Ethernet cable basically everything plugged in the console and
took the Xbox one and put it on my desk and didn't touch it for the whole day. Today plugging everything back in it started working perfectly fine again no spams of the A button or anything. So thank you for helping me out best you can! I appreciate it and
if I have anymore troubles I'll let you know through the forum!
