'A' button on controller is sometimes unresponsive

The Xbox One controller which came with my Kinectless Xbox One yesterday has one problem.

The 'A' button is roughly 10% of the time unresponsive when I press it, and I use the same force as always. The problem isn't too bad though, as I believe it only happens when in menu's or interfaces. I was playing FIFA 15 and while in-game during a match,
I think the A button was working perfectly, always responding. But when I go back to a menu or interface the occassional lack of response occurs again when pressing the 'A' button.

Is this normal, should I request a replacement controller?

Controller buttons, namely A and shoulder, sometimes unresponsive

I just bought the Xbox One X. Controller paired without issue. Sometimes, however, the A button and shoulder buttons become unresponsive; that is I have to press A twice or "harder" to get a response. This happens in-game and within Home menu.

How to resolve?

Controller becoming unresponsive

After a few minutes my controller becomes unresponsive and will not control my X box one x.

1) rebooting the console fixes it

2) pushing the sync button on the controller then pulling the battery out then back in seems to fix it sometimes.

Anyone else having controller issues?
