In fact with that being said, there are things the Kinect can do that the controller cant (Xbox Record That, for example). I hope the commands become compatible via a button sequence or something just for ease of use for those with disabilities but we will
have to see how that goes.

Keeping my Xbox 360 set-up tidy can be a challenge because sometimes I'm too tired to clean / organize it LOL

Also, they need to increase the amount of time that you have to edit a post after hitting the "Reply" or "Post" button.

Imagine playing a game that uses the Kinect a lot (example: voice commands that the control pad can't do) while snacking on chips or something. Then you try to give the Kinect a command only for it to do nothing because talking with food in your mouth LOL

Lei, LOL luckily I have not had that problem just yet though I can imagine how annoying and confused the Xbox would be.

Lei a fantastic idea.

I drum on about it a lot but there is a fair player base of people that cant relate to the Kinect because they have disabilities like being deaf ect.. a button sequence to kick in some of the commands would be awesome in my opinion.

 

Neat and tidy mine is. Virgin box in the cupboard, Xbox standing next to my TV as it will melt in the cupboard.

It would be nice if the " Kinect Only games " had to option to be played with the control pad because the sales of " Kinect " games would probably go up a lot. I was thinking along the lines of " Better with Kinect " on the game case instead of " Kinect
Required " on the case.

Lei, that would be good. I am sure they would work it too, it just means they would need to spend a bit of extra dev time to employ the alternative sequences but it could help boost sales for the titles.

 

I tend to keep my setup tidy, but lately it's been a bit messy. Since I rearranged my room, I haven't had time to tidy up the wires and such, and my games are scattered everywhere (though I make sure to keep the games in their cases!). I don't have a kinect,
which is fine since I don't care for it too much. But I do have a set of Turtle Beach X12s that have the LONGEST cords I've ever seen in my life, and they're pretty much all over the place too. Lol.

Might be my project for tomorrow: Total house clean up.

 

Those cords are pretty long I have to say lol! Which sucks a little because I hate being tickled by wires when I am trying to concentrate. Last thing I want is a wire stoking my neck when I am trying to fight a boss lol

The longest cord that I have are for my Sony Studio Headphones (the cord is 6 feet long LOL) for my MP3 Player. It is a tripping hazard (LOL), but the sound quality is amazing

I definitely would have picked up some Kinect games for my Xbox 360 had the developers made the option to play them with a control pad. Like I've said before, the Kinect is a novel idea and I applaud Microsoft for trying it out. But in the end, it (the
Kinect) just ends up being a "gimic accessory" that leaves the gamers wondering... why not just use the control pad?
