    So some people have to get Xbox live gold to play online but some people don't want to get the live gold so why don't you make Xbox live is for online and live gold for Deals and DLC Discounts or free add-on for some games like fortnite

    This was a big change, removing the packs and the DLC maps.
    I just hope that the gold version brings extra campaign parts or something like Dark Corners 2.

    Hi Jim_23,

    It should only do that if you are part of the Xbox Live Gold Ultimate subscription. When you look at your account, you should see Live Gold and GamePass are treated as two separate subscriptions and renewing Live Gold should not change that.

    ^They might as well make it come out beginning of 2017 by the way they were saying its coming out during the holidays 2016. I don't know what I would do if I had to sit there and wait a year or more for a game.
