I'm just curious if there are any other angry parents out there, who are sick of disturbing images (usually ads for graphic games) appearing on the main page of their Xbox live account?

I have children aged 2 and 6 and we enjoy many of the kids programs available on the Netflix app. However we need to navigate through the main page to access Netflix, and I can almost always count on some sort of disturbing image that keeps my child up at
night.

I realize that Xbox needs to advertise it's products, but why isn't there an option to block images that are unsuitable for kids from being on the main page?

Screenshots are always DARK

ok, this is getting annoying, everytime I take a screenshot, I go to review the image and there’s a black filter over it!!! But if you go back or forth through your images, the filter can be seen as a layer over the original image.

Can you guys do something about this, it’s been months and all my screen grabs are darkened trash sucking up memory and time.

Remove this dark filter over our screenshots, if your putting it there so that it stands out in contrast, let US make that decision. Not a preset filter.

Yup it's uber slow unless you filter the ad servers on your router!

You can set content restrictions on the account being used, which will restrict the ads that can be seen to age-appropriate ones.

You can hide inappropriate content by following the steps below:

1. Go to Settings then choose "Privacy & online safety"

2. Under "CONTENT RESTRICTIONS" choose "Access to content"

3. Choose "Access to content & apps" then select the appropriate age setting.

4. Make sure that you choose "Hide listings in search store & apps".

When you are finished you will see only content based on the age level that you selected.

You don't see the option to approve blocked app or game requests by adding them to the Always allowed list under Content Filters?
