    hi, I've been dealing with xbox support for about six months now trying to recover a series of digital games that I no longer have access to but do have purchase history for.

    I've reset my console, my account, logged on to other xboxs, repurchased with the assistance of customer support, and just about every other option I've found our been given and I've reported these steps multiple times. Now, Hogg reached the end of their
    capacity to help me, customer support is dumping me here in your poor unsuspecting hands and blaming the preview program for the problem.

    So...I need help trying to regain access to a bunch of game titles I can't download or play anymore and I can(obviously ) prove I have purchased them digitally through the xbox store

    Try longer than a month fullhornet. Try 6 months or longer if you are lucky enough to even get it on the system.

    i dont think we will run into the issues of lack of consoles on launch day.. or the 6 months of promised consoles and no delevery. i belive those days are long gone. both should be expecting sales like this knowing how the 360/ps3 did was a testament to the gaming community and how big it is.

    Hi there,

    I see your comment about the preview program. I'm going to assume that your console, that is not permitting the downloads, is in it. If that is the case, have you tried to download the games on another console that is not in the preview?

    Also, have you posted this issue in the preview program support forum?

  5. I have tried other consoles. I don't know where to find or how to find that specific forum and I have been told by microsoft support that they can't do anything and that it's a preview positives issue. I just want help recovering 500 dollars of stuff I bought
    and no one well help me.

    Any games purchased digitally are tied to the account that bought them. You can see your purchase history of your account here -
    Sign in to your Microsoft account

    If you're not seeing the games purchased there, then they were not purchased with your account.

    There's a feature called the Home Console. Most likely you had another profile on your Xbox set as the home console and those games were shared out across your Xbox.

    Xbox Support can see the purchase history of your account. If they can't see the games in your purchase history, then again, same issue. It wasn't purchased with your account. Neither you or Xbox support has an option to delete games from an account.

    The other possibility is that if the purchase of the games were disputed. Then Xbox Support would see a note on the purchase as a Chargeback which would pull the game license from the account.
