    I finished talking to another agent, and I told them that I got another suspension, so they checked my account, and I was already suspended until the 8th of this month. Then I got another suspension until the 18th, even though I was already suspended. The
    agent and I were both very confused, and didn't know why I got another suspension for communication even though I was already suspended for that same reason until the 8th of December 2017. I was hoping you guys would be able to resolve this problem. Thank

    Let me start by waving my flag a bit here and playing the long term customer card. I started using the Xbox live service back in 2003. Then, after buying myself a 360 in 2005 as a Christmas present, I became a regular user of the service. Since then, I have
    spent well over $15,000 on products, games and the service itself. I have over 300 downloaded arcade titles and dozens of full blown games purchased on my account. Not to mention the extensive collection I have on disc, I have been a avid supporter of Xbox
    and Microsoft during this recent bout of console wars since jumping ship from the PS2. Now after introducing myself as that guy I must address a problem. It is a problem. I have been suspended for the second time. I have never modded, used illegal cheats or
    sold such things. I have never gone against the terms of service. I am probably the only person I know who has read them. My suspension is a result of errors in your customer service department and I cannot be the only one feeling the effects of it. I have
    had HORRIBLE experiences with your customer service and I have even been interviewed for a position for the Enforcement Team as a result of the last time this happened as I took upon myself to try to fix the problem from within but I just couldn't work for
    you people. Both your choice and mine. Here is the problem in detail. Keeping in mind that this same thing happened years ago and I strayed away from the service for a bit as a result.

    I primarily use prepaid Xbox cards to pay for the LIVE service and the games I buy from the marketplace. I have never had a problem using them and everything always goes through as planned and we are all happy. My father, being the kind gent he is, decided
    he wanted to gift me some games and pay for some of my LIVE service. I of course accepted, though giving him the warning, that I had used a debit card on your service before and it eventually became a mess. Well here we are again. He bought me a month of Xbox
    Live and I spent about $20 on some DLC and everything was fine. Here we are two months later and his account is overdrawn and I am suspended. You would think, to avoid this remove the card from my billing info once we are through making purchases and you would
    be right. That IS what I did. For some reason it didn't take and after trying it again I recieved error messages that I couldn't remove the card from my billing info. Red flag #1. So I made sure that we didn't have it set up for recurring payments. I did that.
    though the setting never changed, no matter how many times I updated it. Red flag #2. So all I could do was sit back and wait to see if history repeated itself and it sure did. I am now suspended and my Dad's account is overdrawn because YOU, Microsoft, have
    charged me for Live and are now holding my account hostage for a overdraw in that account until I can pay twice the monthly fee to unlock it.

    Any sane, reasonable person would assume that if the transaction could not go through, the account would revert to a Silver membership. Obviously that is not what happened here. I would not be so angry if I hadn't seen this coming and tried my best to fix it.
    I realize to some, that $10-$20 is not that much. To me it is. I am 27, married, and run a farm. I have no extra money right now, which is a null point anyways because literally all of my extra money goes to you guys.

    I would really like my account to be reverted to Silver at least until I can pay for the Gold service again. I am not making idle threats about jumping to Playstation or anything silly like that. I love your products, games and your service. I argue all the
    time about how much better Xbox Live is over PSN. I simply do not think someone should be suspended for being broke. Especially if they tried to curb the problem. I would like to mention I think it is a little shady that I couldn't remove the debit card from
    my account and that I couldn't turn off monthly payments, but even that isn't stopping me from being one of your best customers. I broke no rules and would like my suspension over turned.

    Follow up. I spoke to Shane on the phone from customer service. Not only did he agree with me, but he lifted my suspension and righted various other wrongs.

    The enforcement team don't use the forums.

    Any report filed has to be investigated which takes time.

    Your second suspension would of been for something you did before your first suspension was even issued.

    There's no time limit on when you can be suspended for a violation of the ToU/CoC.

    Phone/chat support are nothing to do with enforcement & don't know how things work.

    It doesn't matter if you were still suspended or not

    It most likely the result.of.the pet. Finding other violations while they were investigating the previous report

    Suspensions do not null or void any previous violations keep it clean it's that simple

    Since this is a billing issue, you would need to contact support directly. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada

    It is not possible to remove a card while you are on an active gold subscription. It is also up to you to make sure auto-renewal is turned off. If you can't do so via the website, you would need to contact support and they can turn it off for you.
