    90 day warranty for replacement controller


    I sent back an Xbox series controller within the 90 day warranty period (there was an issue with the headphone socket).

    The replacement that Microsoft sent me is also faulty. I have had it for less than 90 days.

    However the customer service representative refused to allow me to return the controller as more than 90 days had past since I purchased my ORIGINAL controller.

    Doesn't the replacement also comes with a 90 day warranty?

    Otherwise Microsoft can just keep sending faulty units until the original 90 days have expired - which is what has happened to me.

    Controllers have a 90 day warranty when your first one broke you should have had that replaced by filling for warranty replacement. After 90 days there is no service for a broken controller and you need to buy a new one

    Get it replaced. Controllers have a 90 day warranty.

    For the controller that was redesigned to replace the 360 controller, it sure is having its share of problems.

    Odd controller issues.

    Faulty controller you need a replacement, Microsoft can replace it for you if you are in the 90 day warranty.

    The controller has a 90 day warranty.

    They will not replace it if its gone past 90 days.

    Better off just buying a new one.
