    Hi, for the last couple of weeks i've consistently been signed out of Xbox Live when using video apps.

    I will be watching for anywhere between a couple of minutes and 30 minutes and then Xbox Live will sign me out and the internet connection on other connected devices will be cut temporarily too. This is the error code I have been receiving for it:

    8b050008-00000000-00000000.

    Any help would be great.

    I am getting this same problem :

    8b050008-00000000-00000000 - It shows this error code but this is not in the support database.

    + According to the system network tests, everything works. I am able to connect to my router, the internet, and xbox live.

    + I am able to sign in, however the xbox still thinks i am offline.

    + Doing a "Test Connection to Xbox Live" does not prompt me for a software update

    + After signing in, I am unable to use any apps, they all display the error "8b050008-00000000-00000000" Please try again later.

    I have not seen any resolution to this, or any other threads with that error code. The xbox support site, finds nothing when I enter in this code.

    Please advise.

    Hey there Dan!

    Generally that error is tied to an update issue, but if you're able to connect to Xbox Live I don't believe that's the issue. To start out, have you tried re-downloading your profile to see if there's any change?

    To download your profile, press the guide button and select 'Download Profile'. From there, just re-enter your Xbox Live messages and give it another download. Let us know what's going on :)
