    I'm sure others have held this topic before, but I'm losing patience after a week. I've read multiple forums and done the steps which worked for the 2-3 games that were having the "starting app" issure for the first few attempts. Couple days later, none
    of the games will open and/or run. I've gone out and purchased a 2THD and moved all interally saved games over, did not work. Moved them back, still did not work. Fact, I don't have any games on disk and they are all purchased from the store and downloaded
    over the course of a week or so because of where I am in the world. Another fact, connection to the internet (which isn't a problem running average of 960k/s) has nothing to do with being able to at least open and run a game. I just need to know if there are
    another other steps to resolving or fixing this before I request an xbox one that will run properly for longer than a month of ownership.

    Hey The Huckelberry! If you have had the console for a month or less I would suggest returning it to the retailer for a different one. Aside from that, are you able to start the games in offline mode? Additionally, you may want to try a

    factory reset
    to see if it helps resolve the issue. Post back and let me know how it goes!

  5. Hey Mister Cizi, thanks for posting but unfortunately my current APO, AE 09378 isn't where I purchased the console. I'll try n find a receipt but if it comes to, I'll buy another and cannibalise this.

    Games wouldn't start in offline mode prior to taking your advise either. I did a complete factory reset after moving few games over and once the xbox was up and running, all games (interally and externally) worked perfect with no problem for the consoles
    first turn on. Apologies for delay in response due to trying all avenues of approach when the problem began again. A simple console reset worked few times after some time of power off; now back to square one. Eighteen hours after the first factory reset and
    would be disappointed if it requires one everytime the console completely powers off or goes into its "sleep mode".

    I'll go through the steps again, possibly a few times, in various operating scenarios (downloading/updating, online/offline, multiple/single app running). I know the XboxOneS is somewhat new and wonder if it could have just a bad start-up or processor.

    Hey The Huckelberry! Thanks for getting back to us, sorry to hear the trouble continues. A couple other options to try: Try both Power-Saver as well as Instant-On

    power modes
    to see if one helps resolve the issue, try adjusting
    game & app update settings
    , and try disconnecting the external drive. Post back and let me know how it goes!
