8015D002

I did a search and did everything required, and I still can't sign in.

Out of the blue, I received a message on my Xbox screen that I need to sign in with id and password. Didn't work, and I changed the password twice.

I've done all the recommended fixes in other support threads, but still does not recognize my account sign in. Appears to be a password problem.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that is happening. I'm guessing you went ahead and did the troubleshooting steps provided on this article:

Error 8015D002 occurs when signing in to Xbox Live on your Xbox 360.

I would suggest for you to remove the profile from the console, and download it again. Follow the steps like this:

Here’s how you can remove any Xbox profile from your Xbox 360 console:

1. Go to settings and select System.
2. Select Storage.
   Note If you don’t connect any external storage devices to your console, select
   Hard Drive. If you do use external storage, select All Devices.
   
3. Select Profiles.
4. Select the Xbox profile that you want to delete.
5. Select Delete.
6. Select the following:
   
   Delete Profile Only – This deletes the Xbox profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
   

After the removal of the profile go ahead and perform a power cycle on the Xbox.

1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
   
2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 30 seconds.
   Important Be sure to wait 30 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
   
3. Plug the console power cable back in.

Here’s how to add your Xbox profile to any Xbox 360 console:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
2. Select Download Profile.
   Note Not seeing Download Profile? This means that you’re signed in under another profile. Press the
   X button on your controller to sign out, confirm, and then select
   Download Profile.
   
3. At the bottom of the Download Profile screen, select
   Download Profile.

I see what I did. I had 4 profiles and I deleted just one the first time. I went back and deleted all of them. It worked, and thanks for pointing that out.
