At the bottom of your profile page mine said "CANADA - ENGLISh...I clicked on that and changed it to UNITED STATES.

I then went and changed my Gamertag - IT WORKED!!!

Maybe a solution...try it.

Hey Tek, sorry to hear it. Would you be able to try downloading your profile to a friend's console, and then try making the change there?

I tried contacting xbox support (Olivia or OZ) on twitter with this problem and apparently I am now blocked from twitter support

Then I talked to an xbox live chat person (Rebekah) who said I had to delete my profile and create another but because of the whole twitter thing I don't want to cancel that account and lose my year subscription. She said it was because I had signed up
for some live service in 2008 but I can't see why an xbox gamertag can't be changed because I had onecare live at some point in my life.

It says I get a free change, I want the god-damned change.
